X Factor Update

Published on November 24, 2008 under Celebrity Gossip,X Factor

Well what a show that was! Here at Bunny Bingo, we’re all fans of the show, and we’ll bring you up to date with all the latest gossip and news, as well as our thoughts and opinions.

This week, the contestants were given Take That songs to conquer, and were also given a masterclass from a couple of the boys.

Once the show had been opened by Take That, Alexandra Burke took to the stage, with a lively version of ‘Relight My Fire’, which went down a hit with the judges an audience. It just seems this girl gets better every week!

Ruth Lorenzo then belted out ‘Love Ain’t Here Anymore’, which showed a real desire for her to stay in the competition, and seemed to be liked by the judges and studio audience.

Young Diana Vickers took to the stage with ‘Patience’, which during the week was loved by the Take That Boys. This performance was miles better than last week, and Gary Barlow even said if Simon wouldn’t offer the youngster and record deal, he would!!

JLS gave a good version of ‘A Million Love Songs’ which wasn’t their original choice, and all things considering, was a solid performance.

The maturity of Eoghan Quigg comes through in his performances, more and more each week. His ‘Never Forget’ performance was memorable, and he charmed his way to safety.

Rachel Hylton lacked her usual spark this week, but gave a convincible set of ‘Rule the World’.

The Public this week weren’t feeling the efforts of Rachel or JLS, who were left to the perform for survival. The boys from JLS gave a personal version of ‘Stand By Me/Beautiful Girl’, whilst Rachel desperately sang Jennifer Holliday’s ‘And I’m Telling You (I’m Not Going)’.

Only Hylton’s mentor, Dannii Minogue, offered safety, whilst the other 3 judges went for JLS.
