Katie Price has said that the decision to end her marriage was made by her husband Peter Andre.

The couple, who met on I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! in 2004 and married in 2005, announced their separation yesterday.

In a statement, Price said: “Pete is the love of my life - and my life. We have children together and I am devastated and disappointed by his decision to separate and divorce me, as I married him for life.

“I will always love Pete. This is not what I want and the decision has been taken out of my hands. I will not comment further or do any interviews regarding the separation but I will always love my Pete.”

Price and Andre have two children together, three-year-old Junior and one-year-old Princess Tiaamii, as well as Price’s six-year-old son Harvey from a previous relationship with footballer Dwight Yorke.

Katie Price has described Kerry Katona’s husband Mark Croft as a “bully”, insisting that she warned the reality star not to trust him.

Speaking to OK!, Price admitted that she was not surprised to hear that Katona’s marriage to the former taxi driver had hit another rocky patch.

“I told her years ago that I didn’t trust Mark and that I thought he was a bully and I meant it…It’s just a shame she didn’t believe me, I was only trying to be a friend,” Metro quotes her as saying.

Earlier this month, Katona announced that she was divorcing Croft amid claims that they had argued over their finances, but the couple were reported to have rekindled their romance a few days later.

Price, who met Katona on 2004’s I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here!, added: “It’s down to her what she does, but it’s just like a man who hits a woman. They go back crying, apologising and begging and convince their partners to give them a second chance, but they end up doing it again.”

The pair have been seen on several dates, and Donnelly’s agent claims that they are dating, but it is its ‘early days’.

According to The Sun, Donnelly has been spotted out with Thompson, a Sky Sports News anchor, on a string of dates.

“She has told everyone how sexy Dec is,” a friend of Thompson said. “She said he is a real charmer who constantly has her in stitches. Georgie’s a stunning girl with an encyclopedic knowledge of sport. Dec’s very lucky to have her.”

The 33-year-old I’m A Celebrity host was previously involved in a long-term relationship with Dancing On Ice’s Clare Buckfield, though the pair parted ways in 2003 after ten years together.
