Danny Hayward told the BBC that auditions for the lead part of Goody would be announced in three weeks’ time.

Publicist Max Clifford said: “It’s an idea that’s got legs, but it’s nothing definite. It’s not all signed and sealed, but it’s something that’s likely to happen.”

Clifford added that he would help cast the lead roles and promote the musical if it went ahead because he “got very close with Jade in the last year and spent a lot of time with her”.

Hayward said: “Jade was just an ordinary girl and the person who plays her will reflect that. The most important thing is to give someone a break, just like she got.

“Her dream as a little girl was to be in a musical, so so obviously when she passed away it felt fitting to do something like this. It’s still in its infant stages, but it’s definitely going to happen.”

Director Nick Love was recently linked to a possible movie biopic of Goody’s life.

Jackiey Budden has said that her daughter Jade Goody had overwhelming support from around the world in the latter stages of her life.

Publicist Max Clifford told ITV’s This Morning that after some initial criticism for selling her story, the public got behind the late reality TV star when they found out she was doing so to support her children.

Budden said: “I think Jade would be very pleased with the support she has had, not just in England but all different nations.

“It’s been overwhelming of how much support she has had through her wedding, christening and the funeral.”

She added: “But she’s my little star and she always will be and wherever she is, she is out of pain and will still know that she is looking after us.”

Budden recently revealed that her daughter had asked her to kill her to end her suffering shortly before she died.

Jade Goody’s Essex home has reportedly gone on the market with an asking price of £1 million.

The four-bedroomed converted barn was bought by the reality TV star in 2007 and sits in more than an acre of land.

Proceeds from the sale will be added to the trust fund that Goody set up for her two young sons before her death from cancer last month.

A source told Hello that the family are pleased with the high valuation of the property, saying: “It’s brilliant for her sons. Jade knew they would be going to live at their dad Jeff’s house, and Jackiey Budden, has no need of the property as she has always refused to move out of her council flat in south London.”

Taxi Driver outburst!

Wednesday, April 15th, 2009

The taxi driver assaulted by Jack Tweed has claimed that Jade Goody’s widower received a softer sentence because of his fame and said that the couple’s marriage was “a sham”.

Tweed was jailed for 12 weeks at Harlow Magistrates’ Court yesterday after being found guilty of assaulting Stephen Wilkins while on bail for another attack.

Wilkins told The Mirror: “If he had been Joe Bloggs he would have got what he deserved. But because of who he is and who he married he got off lightly.

“It’s absolutely ridiculous. Why hasn’t he got what anyone else would get for attacking a boy with a golf club and then near killing me?”

He added to The Sun: “It’s all been a show for the public and I think his marriage was a sham.

“He used this situation for his own ends. I’ve no sympathy. He could have killed me, himself and three others.”

Tweed’s solicitor George Kampanella suggested that he had been treated more severely because of his fame and added that the legal team was considering an appeal.
